Computer trouble, not a lot of me around!

My computer got frelled yesterday, which is entirely my own fault - I've been using the power button way too often. Oh well. I just handed it in to the computer place, and they said they might get it fixed in two weeks or so. So don't count on me much for the next two weeks (And of course I can't fic or see any new stuff. Drat

Ah, sorry to hear about the comp. You mean you've been turning it on and off too frequently? Or what?

I tend to leave mine running, unless I'll be away from home for a few hours.

I mean that when I've been in a hurry and the computer has taken too long to finish, I've turned it off by hitting the power switch rather than by actually going through the process of turning it off. Which is bad, and definitely something I mean to stop doing.
