Did you read the last ever Modesty short story where the UST is resolved (sort of). I can't read it without crying buckets, mind you.

No, I didn't! I haven't read much in the way of Modesty books, just bits of axa's copies. Most of what I know is comic canon.

Does that mean they don't count anymore? Damn, in that case, I really love the platonic aspect.

I don't want to spoil you :-) I'd say it counts and they're still one of the ultimate platonic pairings, definitely.

Considering I just went straight to wikipedia to check out what happens, I wouldn't mind being spoiled. But then, maybe we shouldn't spoil innocent by-readers. Hmm, I wonder if axa has that book...

I want to do this meme, just because I want to mention what I think is my favourite platonic female/male friendship ever: Andy/Maggie in Extras. But I fear I might not be able to come up with ten, which is depressing.

Hey, it took one scene to sell me completely on Annie, George and Mitchell...

Agree completely on Lynda-and-Kenny and Donna and the Doctor, too. And George and Rube (I'd also put in Rube and Roxy, who I love in their scenes together).

They're really freaking adorable.

And yes, to Rube and Roxy, but like I said in the post, I let certain characters represent their whole canon, because there are just too many examples in certain shows.

Just saw episode 2 last night. Mitchell standing up for Annie when she was too distressed to speak = absolutely perfect...
