Found this via a community; I've always been a big Anne fan but never thought of ever slashing this fandom, so I was hesitant to read the story, but I did and found it really made sense, in a way. I really think Anne would be like that. She'd love everyone, and give her love to all she could. I dunno...just really makes sense.

Well, it's just not a fandom I would think of as one to do any sort of slash with. People do all the new books and tv shows and such. I do femslash of certain tv shows. Using older literature was something I didn't think was done. But it's nice to see that when it is, it's well done.

I have participated in yuletide five years in a row, so I'm used to writing for smaller fandoms. Doing so off-yuletide just means it can be hard to find readers. *g*

Thank you! I didn't want a sad ending, since I really do feel that Katherine was better off for knowing Anne, but I wasn't sure how to create a happy one. I'm glad the way it turned out worked for you!

Oh, I like this very much - it's a perfect extension of the effect that Anne has on Katherine's life. I love that they go their own way at the end - it's so true to the books. Lovely.
