Found this via a community; I've always been a big Anne fan but never thought of ever slashing this fandom, so I was hesitant to read the story, but I did and found it really made sense, in a way. I really think Anne would be like that. She'd love everyone, and give her love to all she could. I dunno...just really makes sense.

Well, it's just not a fandom I would think of as one to do any sort of slash with. People do all the new books and tv shows and such. I do femslash of certain tv shows. Using older literature was something I didn't think was done. But it's nice to see that when it is, it's well done.

I have participated in yuletide five years in a row, so I'm used to writing for smaller fandoms. Doing so off-yuletide just means it can be hard to find readers. *g*

I've never heard of yuletide before. It looks interesting. The fandom that I do femslash for is Power Rangers, and I use the pairing Kimberly/Katherine (original pink Ranger + second pink Ranger. I don't often read many femslash fics, but that's due to lack of time...I do have my favorites. I always put all my work on ff.net... the pairing I do isn't popular so I don't get too many readers either. Then again, if one wrote only to get readers, we'd all be doomed :)

Power Rangers femslash sounds cool, though I haven't seen the show since I was a kid. :-)

ff.net is a useful place to put stories, but not always terribly welcome of rare pairings.

I like writing fic I can't find elsewhere. Not having readers sometimes comes with the territory. :-)

An ex got me into it because she wrote the pairing. She was the first to do it. She got me started, and I found out that I was good at it. Now I'm the dominant writer of it there. I also do regular PR fics, which I have gathered a good fanbase on so if I'm wanting an ego boost, I'll write a really good fic with a Kim/Tommy pairing.

I've seen Anne/Diana, but not Anne/Katherine, no. :-)

I can't remember any specific stories, just that I've seen them.

And of course, once one starts thinking of Heavenly Creatures as Anne of Green Gables on LSD, there's just no stopping.

It's a Peter Jackson movie about two young girls (one slim and red-haired, the other a solid brunette) who have a friendship with romantic/sexual overtones and an incredibly rich shared fantasy life, and who end up killing the mother of one of the girls. If Anne and Diana were crazy murderous lesbians, that's who they'd be. :-)
