sharing the fannishness over JDB and Ellen Page, and asking for Wenham/Bean porn

I realized the other day, right after making that post on America Ferrera, that the reason I felt so ready to jump any movie star coming my way, especially if they were hot and hispanic, was because I was ovulating. It doesn't happen every month, but sometimes a burst of fannishness coincides with that time of month, and I end up building pretty ( Read more... )

Whaddya mean he wasn't like that in Zorro? He might just be raising one eyebrow quizzically, but thinking "What the FUCK is that?!" he was a sneaky little boy.

And from the fannish stalking I've done of his interviews and such (and conversion of transcripts on translating sites) I get that he is an intelligent leftest, as well. And the few comment about him on the DVD for The Dancer Upstairs seemed to confirm that. I don't think that JDB struggled with the english as much as the main actor.

Anyways. I'm right there with you on the JDB love.

He was pretty well-behaved for the most part, though. Except when he accidentally set off bombs or used Diego's writings to diaper babies. *g* It's kind of fun imagining him secretly thinking Sucre's lines.

Btw, the Felipe songvid is kind of lagging right now, because I got into my head that I actually needed to watch all eps first. :-) Also, finding good clips for such a long songs proves a bit tricky. But I'm working on it mentally, if nothing else.

Meanwhile, it occurred to me that one could make a really good humour vid by combining Spike's monologue from In The Dark (the first minute of this) with Zorro clips...

I love Ellen Page. And I haven't even seen her in anything but Wilby Wonderful, I think... But Juno is definitely on my to see list. If only I can find a decent download.

Personally, I found it worth the 90 kronor for watching it in a theater, but ymmv.

Yeah, I don't really find any movie worth watching in the theatre... See, the first thing I do when I get inside one is check were the emergency exit is, and then spend the entire movie trying very hard not to freak out, or figuring out exactly how slowly I would die in case of a fire. I'm really not fond of movie theatres. :) Ordinary theatres are fine though, for some reason.

Aw. That's so sad! My only gripe with movie theaters are how insanely expensive they are.

Maybe ordinary theaters are better because they're usually larger, with higher ceilings, and more room to move?

See this is where I think you're wrong, I think the soundtrack was perfect, it matched it so well.

Also, about the hospital scene, I cried too, but for Juno. And god, yes, Allison was wonderful as always. This movie actually made me like JENNIFER GARNER that is quite an achievement, and I'm glad you went and saw it despite me being MIA.

Let's just say it was really not my kind of music, which meant I got jarred right out of the story whenever there was a song.

I can't honestly say if I cried more for Vanessa or Juno. I just cried. :-)

I think it helped that she was presented as such a borderline unpleasant person - it gave us room to vent our antipathies and created sympathy for her at the same time.
