miscellaneous TV ramblings

I figured now that I'm back, I should return to fannish things and stop talking about boring things like my life.

So. Another Hugo for a Moffat-penned ep. I am so very pleased. It's always nice when your resident house god is performing well. *grin ( Read more... )

*nods*

I have to admit that I'm not exactly a huge Ando fan, precisely because of his issues with women, but I like what he is for Hiro, and I don't think the direction they're going in here is doing him any favours. (Or Kimiko, for that matter)

So I guess, I ... would ship Ando/Hiro, too? :)

addendum: may I friend you? We seem to have some things in common, so I thought it would be nice. You don't have to friend back if you don't want.

Yeah. I usually like the comics, and some of them have given interesting insights to the characters, but this one rubbed me the wrong way big time.

And friend ahead! *friends back*

I can't help but be reminded of the way the show presented Matt in Hiros, and whether his interaction with his wife there was supposed to be sweet, since it came across as creepy instead (well, to yours truly). Which makes me afraid that we were supposed to think of Ando being cute here, too, though honestly I don't think they'll go there on tv - with all the new characters, there is simply no time for Ando (i.e. sidekick of one of the regulars, in terms of the narrative) to get an on screen romance. Otoh, it's also possible that by the time Hiro comes back from feudal Japan, he'll find Ando engaged to Kimiko, and since the viewer is in Hiro's pov, he'll presented with the facts without having seen the process (other than in comics).

Psych is a lot of fun. And Gus is totally the sane one of the partnership. All the characters are so great. Lassie! The lady police chief! I don't think I'll ever get fannish about it, but it's definitely a show that makes me smile. :)

I'll keep watching, then! At least until the novelty of Dulé speaking wears off.
