Sponsoring Kerry the only way I can

Not being an American, I can't vote That Bastard out of office, but what I can do, I will do. And so I've joined fan_the_vote. The purpose of the community is simple: people offer to do fannish things in return for other people giving money to Kerry's campaign.

I don't have much money, but for Kreig slashfic? I will find money. :-)

Ooh, you're not making it easy for me. But sure, go find the money. Any particular pairing, storyline or length in mind? :-)

I don't wanna make it difficult; Kreig genfic would be also highly acceptable -- as long as it isn't hetfic. I'm open to pairing, although I prefer no Lucas.

My highest preference would be Krieg/Ford and I've got $20 I can spend. If 4,000 words is more than you think you can do for a character you're not comfortable with, lemme know what length you can do and I can spread out my contribution (e.g., I also love Percy Weasley and would adore a Percy/Wesley xover of any kind.)

What, I can't perv it out a little? *grin*

Slash or gen doesn't matter much to me. It's more the fact that it was quite a while since I last saw SeaQuest. But I'm sure I can freshen up my memories. :-)

Is there any similar community for Ralph Nader? I'd join full heartedly in that case. Gotta go search right now.

Not that I know of, but this one gives the opportunity to give the money to MoveOn.org instead. Of course, that's up to the person giving the money, not the person writing the fic. *shrug*

Supporting Nader seems to me a rather risky business consider what's at stake...

Well seeing Kerry's track record I doubt he'd make much difference once in officr.
