*I* like McKinley. She writes fairy tales that are twisted for an adult audience.

Sounds like a good time... I wish the gay groups here had big huge get-together things like that.

Good, then there's one person in favour at least!

And expenses paid, too! Yay!

You do know you can order things from the SF bokhandel online, right? (otherwise it's www.sfbok.se, i think)

...and if it makes you feel any better, I was like that too the first time I went to a SFG conference. Only I had more people to cling to, since it was the first SFG conference, and Lund/Malmö sent a whole bunch of people in order to get more influence (which we got... yay for us!). It gets better the more people you get to know :)

No, I didn't know. How lovely! Although I always feel vaguely guilty when I'm shopping online. Which is weird.

*You* were like that? You're right, that does make me feel better. You don't strike me as the wishy-washy type.

That's interesting. Where does one purchase those? I could need one. :-)

I don't know what I'll do or not do tomorrow, btw. I'll be in town for work earlier, but I've spent too much money lately already...

McKinley is good. Very good, on her best days. and I'm so glad you have Hexwood; even though it's one of those books that makes one's head hurt to read, everyone should have it. It's wonderful.

I'm reading Hexwood now, and I think the fact that it's so complicated is part of its charm. Though I suspect I'm reading it rather too quickly - next time when I know what's going to happen I'll be able to savour it properly.

And that's another in favour of McKinley - whohoo! Seems like I made a good choice!
