Rohandove has the pretty much funniest little animation ever.I was at a lecture yesterday called "Alien and the monster mommy", and it was just as fun as I thought it would be. Interestingly, she's the one who's responsible for me discovering slash... in a book called nasa/trek that we read in the "SF from a feminist perspective" she gives in the autumn semester. Anyway, even though she obviously managed to miss Call/Ripley in Alien IV and Aragorn in LoTR, I don't think she's a total muggle.

That's cool. I'm always surprised how many people turn out to be fannish upon closer look - and so many *more* people in a queerish context.

And logically, I know Aragorn is supposed to be straight. It's just that after all the LJ posts (and one or two reviewers) commenting that Aragorn and Legolas look about to kiss at the coronation, it's a little bit hard to remember. :-)
