I've been wondering why Denethor says he wished Faramir had been the one to die instead of Boromir. Or more specifically, why he says so in the film. In the book, they're having an argument, it's a heat of the moment thing and Faramir reacts accordingly - by losing his own temper. The scene in the film is quite different.
