Oooooh neat! You know, I have never seen or read Kiss of the Spider Woman, and I really, really, really need to get on that. I was thinking that when you were talking about reading the book too.

No, that's really cool. Last night I was tired and in the middle of booking Amtrak tickets, but it's a really interesting twist. If wonder if that Velvet Goldmine trivia blog included it?

I actually do not think it did! From what I can gather, Kiss of the Spider Woman isn't a much-viewed or an easily-accessible movie nowadays. I googled "Jack Fairy Molina" and "Jack Fairy Kiss of the Spider Woman" and even "Velvet Goldmine Kiss of the Spider Woman" and did not come up with any relevant hits.
