I mean, nowadays no one would go to a movie that was advertised as "insipid female gets pushed around until someone stand up and fights her battles for her."
Remember, the movie will be directed at women (as most men wouldn't be caught dead watching this) and the industry seems to feel that today's woman is a mix between slut, clothes-horse, and militant feminist.
So yea, go with that
