Admittedly this doesn't work so well for bands that are disbanded/dead, but mostly one ought to just go to concerts for shirts; they're much cheaper there and it's even more credible than buying one from a music shop.

Ditto. That's a horrid costume, made even scarier by the man wearing it! Yuck. Yuck yuck yuck yuck yuck. No, in all costuming choices its best to either make your own or by the pieces seperatley.

By the by...I buy faded Sesame Street shirts. But i figure that's OK since I know enough about the show that I'm not just being an idiot. I hope...

If you buy 'em because you want to buy 'em, that's totally fine. It's only if you buy 'em because you saw it in a magazine or because it's just there but you have no idea what it means that's silly.

There's an ad on Facebook for quasi-hipster novelty shirts with the tag line, "you think it, we print it."

And what ever did the Ramones do to deserve two different designs bearing their names?

Sold the fuck out, maybe?

Okay, it's only "ironic" if you actually see one in a vintage shop and pick it out yourself, as a free and individual choice.

And even then, it's still stupid. Except for my ROTC shirt, of course. :D
