Went to the doctor today. UTI and Strep throat. Good times for all.

Sickness has fallen upon me. Temp of 102.7 and the worst sore throat ever. Dying in bed.

Not much happened today. At 3, Grandpa gave me a ride down to the repair shop to pick up my van..seems to work better than ever (so far), and then ate dinner with Grandpa. Turkey Stew, yum yum. Now I'm going to watch The Phantom of the Opera. How gay is that ( Read more... )

Adam and Danette came over to visit me tonight. Danette cooked us some good spaghetti, although it wasn't spaghetti, but some other kind of noodle. A round pasta, but was very good. Adam filled the wood rack. Grandpa came to visit and we all got to hear about his life as Food Services Manager for St. Vincent Hospital. Good times, I tell ya. ( Read more... )

Well the starter on my van is acting up again...took it back to the shop this morning. They must be tired of seeing me by now.

so as I was saying....today I went and had lunch with my grandfather and his significant other. They have lived together for the last 20+ years. Supposedly they are not married, but I have my suspicions. Anyway, she recently had to be placed in a senior center home, due to Alzheimer's. It was good. at 11:30am....we have an appointment to have our dog put to sleep. He is a chow and is 15 years old...and has arthritis so bad that he can hardly walk. I love you Shogi.

Cry Cry Cry....mom and dad just went out the door with him.

it is always facinating to discover who is a real friend..and who is not :-(

God grant me the senility to forget the people I never really liked, the good fortune to run into the ones that I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.
