So I think this is really what I have always wanted but I heard something the other day to help me put it in words. And I think this is what a lot of people want and desire. It might be kind of wordy but I'm just gonna type

I think most of what you said is good. You definitely need to be pursued by a guy, but he needs to be able to live without you. You, just like him and the rest of us, are a fallible, unsteady human being, and for him to be that dependent on you isn't good. For him to be the best for you he can possibly be he needs to be relying on the Lord for everything.

I've always thought that that one special someone should come along and totally change your way of life, your way of thinking, just everything. But I've realized now that I don't think that's the way it should be. I think maybe a more accurate and more godly thing to look for is to find someone who doesn't turn your world upside down, but just adds to it. Your life should be enriched by this person, not totally wrecked. God should be the only thing wrecking your world.

at least that's what I think.
