I finished reading the newest Warcraft novel last night: Beyond the Dark Portal by Aaron Rosenberg and Christie Golden. It was really good, and since I've never had the opportunity to play Warcraft II or its expansion, it was a great way to flesh out my knowledge of that time period.

I've been doing the flames periodically, mostly for the XP although my druid and his rogue lady-friend went last night and got the city flames.
It's funny that both the times I've been attacked while flagged (with the undead warlock and just now with the blood elf priest), I've killed my would-be gankers XD

"Lord of the Clans" is Thrall's backstory from an orphaned baby through his gladiator days, until he become Warchief. That one's pretty much all orcs.
"The Last Guardian" is a must-read if you've been in Karazhan. It's Medivh and Khadgar's story, very little Horde.
None of those are by Knaak. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with his work. I love the dragon stuff, but I hate Rhonin and Anveena. ;)

And yeah, I am the same way... I absolutely -adore- the night elf story but the book itself is kind of ... well.

Oh, and good for you! About all I can do is NOT fight back to hopefully take the fun out of it for them. ;)

And your experiences with Eitak and Skarlette getting those opposing city flames was interesting. Good job on the only one death with Eitak. No small feet ;) Your comment about choosing not to go through the front of Orgrimmar (I applaud that decision btw ;) ) reminds me of a new Saurfang joke I saw.
"If you somehow managed to polymorph High Overlord Saurfang, you would be the first person in WoW to be killed by a sheep."

Well, true, Eitak's feet are very large and blue, but that's not the point...oh, wait, you meant "feat." Gotcha. ;D

ROFL!!! Love it!

Is it a great feat of strength or great strength of feet?

"Name it, Father," the man [Nefarian] replied, "and it shall be done."
Deathwing smiled. "There are still orcs within Blackrock Spire. They have severed ties with their kin, and refuse to rejoin the Horde. That leaves them ripe for the plucking." His smile widened as he reached out to clasp his son by the shoulder. "When I return, Nefarian, I want this Rend Blackhand. You two will take control of the mountain and the orcs living in it. They will become our servants."
Nefarian grinned, his expression a mirror of his father's. "Little could be easier. We'll have the orcs and their mountain fortress waiting for you," he promised.
"Excellent." Deathwing regarded his children for a moment, then nodded.
