:) I still remember the first time I saw your site. Heck, you were the one who inspired me to get into making my own website. (I was all, "Cool, I wanna do that too!" ^^) Good times, good times.

Congrats on how long this site ran for. It was your first, yes? It's certainly something to be proud of. :)

*whistles* I can still remember when I caught this site on Nelvana's old Redwall site for those interested in more information on the original books: me thinking, hey, that's Scarlet's site! A pity you're closing, but certainly understandable: all good things must come to an end. Congrats on all the years and milestones this site made it through!

No worries, it had a good run. People move on. As long as the spark itself stays the same, that's all that matters. And it's good to have something like your site for Redwall fans to use and enjoy. *sage* :)

You did a really great job, but speaking from experience, it's good to let go of a site you can no longer update without it feeling like a chore.

What sites have you made that you still consider active, out of curiosity?

Thanks! And good question.

I guess I would consider the goldfish page, the Scrooge McDuck pages, the Pirates of the Caribbean page, the WoW page, the Snape/Lily page, and the Heritage in the Stars pages "active."
None of them get frequent updates, but in my mind they are still open.

The PotC, WoW and Snape pages are small sites and really only there to host fics/art/icons/links so unless my muse thwaps me with something for those fandoms they sit idle.

The Scrooge pages have been idle for quite awhile (two years, to be exact...sigh) but I've been a Scrooge fan since about age four, and I don't expect that to ever change. Every so often my muse will direct me in that direction and when it does I'll update the site with something.

Heritage in the Stars...well, that's a long story involving writer's block, motivation problems and other stuff.

Plus, World of Warcraft owns your mortal soul fR0EV@rRRZZ!!!1one, and you only have one mortal soul to go around at any one time. *mock-sage* *ducks mighty sword, or something* ;) j/k
