Trashy romance novels

I was shifting large print fiction at work this afternoon and I spent several minutes reading--and stifling uproarious giggles because of--the covers of trashy romance novels. I always am Way Too Amusedtm by the purple prose and Mary Sue-worthy "characters", and I imagine the summaries being read by the kind of baritone announcer that does movie
