Doh!

I was sooooo careful to back up everything I could possibly think of before I reformatted the upstairs computer. So of course I forgot something. All my fonts. >_< *slaps forehead*

Thank God (and Google) for AbstractFonts.com!

Ooooh, nifty. I'd been using Dafont up to this point, but it's always a good thing to have more fonts. My computer would probably run faster/smoother if I didn't have 1500 of them. But...they're all so wonderful....

*LOL* That happened to me the first time I had to reformat, along with the drivers for my scanner. Fortunately, the net can be a pretty good backup tool at times. Glad to hear your fonts are back. Me, I don't know what I'd do without my Bonzai or Katana ;-)

We all have our brain fart moments. Some more significant than others. >_< And yes, there are some fonts I cannot live without. ;)

Here's a foolproof way:
Make an image of your hard drive.
As you notice things missing (like your fonts), plug in the image and copy over the files.

The nice thing is that you can do a delta check if you ever wanted to see what's different now (nice for text files and HTML files).

*sound of what you said whizzing over my head*

No need to bother explaining, though. I'm normally quite good about backing stuff up. This was just a brain fart. >_<;
