The Bad

I have to say the dorms do not impress me.  I was aware of the double rooms, and how five rooms per suite shared a common room and kitchen.  But the size of everything surprised me.  We have an awkward shared desk, with one shelf on the far side of the desk (not in the middle???).  We each have two drawers under our beds, and some shelves ( Read more... )

OMG. So true about the euro. IT'S FUCKING EVIL (though not quite as evil as the Danish kroner). I feel like I'm BURNING through money here, which is worrisome. And yeah, I hate the 150 euro fee ( ... )

Yeah I haven't been to a legit cafe yet! I've only bought coffee once so far. It's funny: they keep saying there are Starbucks' around campus, but they are only place they have Starbucks coffee. You know, where you grab a cup and get your own...

Ooh you have to go to a cafe! There's tons of them all over Galway, and all very cute. My favorite pub here is called The King's Head, and they always have great traditional music, so if you visit, I'll take you there.

Also, if you haven't already, you should try Bulmer's hard cider. It's amazing.

Ooh and Irish foods to try: Ribena fruit juice, sausage rolls, Shepherd's pie, and all of the delicious Cadbury candies you see. :P

Yeah I want to. Bulmer's was my first drink here haha. I love Ribena so much! I can't stop buying all sorts of candy and cookies! So many new ones! I had bangers and mash at a bar Friday, twas awesome.
