Thank God it's almost Spring!!!

I've never put much stock in New Year's Resolutions, but I'm hoping I can turn over a new leaf by adhering to my own this year. I think I've done pretty well the past 25.5 years, but I think it's never too late to show any kind of initiative, so what the hay? *passed oral comps
*sang very well in recital hearing
*recital hearing unexpectedly doubled as DA audition--accepted to DA program
*sweet presentation on Shakespeare and the Romantics in MuHis--received A
*cleared by graduate office to graduate in December

Life is good... :-)

I have a full asstship!!! Half with MusEd, half with theory. And of course the choral office. I'm sooo excited for this fall. I know I'll be busy busy with those, my recital (Nov. 30 for any/all that can come), and oral comps. But I LOVE being busy.

Summer term is over, things went well, and now it's on to Vegas, baby, Vegas!

I just got back from the Ben Folds concert. It started out really good, but then got weird. During the solo portion of the show ("Kate," unfortunately), Ben was apparently lip syncing b/c the tape stopped and he kept going.
