Phew
So life here has been pretty hectic. I thought that once the opera ended I would have loads of free time. I would catch up on sleep, hang out with my newfound friends, relax and do all sorts of fun things. Life had other ideas ( Read more... ) -

An update
Just spoke with some of the Benningtonites this evening, who I miss terribly! I know I have said this before but it is weird not being there. I am also realizing that I have made some great new friends here. I had a great time going out with some of the people from the cast of Dido and Aeneas on thursday. So here's my dilemma
So I have been looking for a job for this summer (Ok I am also looking for a job now but thats another story). I auditioned for OFAM about 2 weeks ago. This would be a way fun job. Acting, getting paid for acting, etc. I have not yet heard back from them. Dont really know when I will hear back from them. Dont have any idea what the pay or the ( Read more... ) -
The crazy West Coast
I thought that Rebecca was going to be the one with all of the crazy people stories. I am not sure what it was about today but the strange people of Seattle were out in full force.
While walking between busses downtown I saw withing the span of 2 minutes a midget carrying a large sign saying "FREE HUGS" and a man with an oppossum on his shoulder.

Random point
I always find it a little weird to see actors I am used to on one show appear in other shows. I know they are all working actors, and its kinda fun to play 'where do I know them from' but sometimes it can be a little weird. Especially with shows like CSI. The week of pain and frustration
Seattle Metro = Major Frustration, Ballet = Pain
So last weekend I went to see Anne (gave me voice lessons last year, Ruth in Pirates, totally amazing!) in her show at the childrens theater. She was going to help me get it (for maybe less than the ticket price). So great. I plan out my usual bus route to Seattle center so I dont have to go downtown ( Read more... )
