Just spoke with some of the Benningtonites this evening, who I miss terribly! I know I have said this before but it is weird not being there. I am also realizing that I have made some great new friends here. I had a great time going out with some of the people from the cast of Dido and Aeneas on thursday. All in all a rather successful birthday, and there is still more to come. Next weekend will include a concert of aging barbershop singers and festivities with the people from ACT, and then I head home to spend some time with my family. I am hoping that last will include some sort of cake as that is the one thing I am really missing!
This week has included a day long tech rehearsal for the Young Playwrights Festival, a horrendous injury involving a screw and my finger, a walk home in the hail, a very fun turn of events involving my bank account, my first day of work at my new paying job, awaiting a baby at work, a major regime change at work, contemplation of summer plans, surprise auditions, some witchy singing, coaching musical theater classmates, coming to some conclusions about cornish, a senior concert, and a lot of getting up early. Not necessarily in that order.
All in all, I could have used one less early morning wake up call, and a little less stress, but not a bad week.
And on monday it all starts again
