We have plaster walls too and I found that drilling a LITTLE TINY pilot hole helps. Or if the stuff isn't too heavy velcro works too... just get the kind with the sticky back. Can't wait to see you at the wedding!

hee.
I had a similar wedding band experience, but there was no possibility of finding something to suit my engagement ring, so I just went with simple white gold band, and it makes me very happy (though Nate couldn't understand my choice). I completely, 100%, agree: do what makes you happy!

Congrats on moving! Will you please send out your new address when things are settled? Sounds lovely!

I have lived in my current place for almost 1 year and still, nothing hung on walls. It's too intimidating, somehow! I will be very impressed if you overcome your plaster problem within a reasonable amount of time!

When you move once a year, you get really fast at unpacking and decorating. Either that, or you never do either and you live out of boxes semipermanently. :) yes, I'll send out our new address as soon as I can commit myself to spending a reasonable amount of time in front of the computer at home.
