Sylar's mother reminded me very strongly of someone. I think it was the female lead in Little Shop of Horrors.

Is was, in fact, the female lead in Little Shop of Horrors, Ellen Greene. :) Took me a while to figure it out, especially because I kept thinking how much like Amanda Plummer she was, except that I could tell she just wasn't Amanda Plummer. That really distract

Ha! Well, that would explain it, then, wouldn't it?

Dude, I never for a second actually thought it WAS the woman from Little Shop of Horrors. How cool.

Yeah, I agree--I don't think it'd be fair to complain if she were real. But I'd hate to lose the original version of her for good, you know?

Definitely a utility episode, moving all the pieces into place in a manner more obvious than I would have liked ( ... )

How is he immune to the timestop though? That seems unfair/unexplained.

I've seen it suggested elsewhere that it's not that Sylar is immune to it so much as Hiro is conflicted about killing him and let it slip, which works for me.

I was totally expecting Sylar to slowly freeze her to death, make the entire apartment into a snowglobe.

Me too! I suppose then Sylar couldn't have painted the future in her blood, though.

You know, if Mohinder's sister had powers, hrm....has Mohinder tested himself ever?

I've got to assume that his father tested him, because I get that the Suresh line can be a little dim, but surely not that dim. So... I mean, I suppose it's theoretically possible that he'll turn up with powers--I very much doubt he's tested himself, because I'd think he's make the same assumption I just made--but I'd find it a little tough to swallow if so.
