1. My computer is going out of its way to piss me off. Inserting symbols in my Spanish downloads and having the internets continuously fail in many little ways. I did just renew its coverage, so technically I could take a large heavy stick to it...hm. Must think on this farther ( Read more... )

Well, have fun with your surreal!wedding. Man oh man, and how long of a drive is that? Still, cheap is always good, and there's always at least a perverse pleasure in family gatherings, right? Anyway, you take your time with everything; the internet goes nowhere.

But what's HMC? It has Welsh accents (always a plus)? YOU HAVE RECORDINGS? OH WAIT. IS THAT WHAT'S IN MY EMAIL? *runs off to check*

It's a 9 hour drive or so, we're guessing, maybe 10. But we will have fun. Josh is a friend from high school, one of our good friends who moved away once he graduated. It's a pretty exciting affair, but as I said, very strange.

HMC is Howel's Moving Castle. I had it in Ebook, but my PDF converter is having issues, and so when someone uploaded an audio version, I snagged it, and the narrator was very good at giving the Welsh the proper accents, and it made me want to try. But so far, my tongue will not obey me. Ah well, it just means I have to watch Torchwood and listen to Gwen and Ianto all day. What a sad sad thing.

Yeesh. Well, have fun with that. We're samers! We just had a ten-hour drive to Uncle's Place... and it's not too terribly bad, especially with a nice place at the end.

OH HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE GOOD STUFF THAT. And even better with Welsh accents, for sure.

Exactly, it's not a bad drive at all, as long as I'm not the one driving. And since I can just sleep in the back, I'm perfectly fine with it.
