Beautiful blue skies and sunny Monday where I spent my day off.

The river doesn't freeze where there are rapids.

Those same rapids on a pontoon boat can be scary enough. They look harmless. I'd take them close to shore if I were in a canoe. You bet!

Advice heeded. We've already upturned in them once. Close to shore either side is best.
