There are still some places. But just on the peripheries of many places there are highways, and mining, logging, drilling etc. It is so much work to conserve the wilderness which is always a worthwhile pursuit. :)
Before you know it you'll be out on some quiet lake dipping the paddle lazily through calm waters and winter will be a distant memory. You know it. I solo my own now. Because I can.
