No-one could say that life in our road is uneventful. This morning our next door neighbour's son nearly got arrested for the second time over non-payment of fines for not having his parking permit. I do think people don't feel that some rules apply to them when they clearly do! I hope he's learned his lesson this time!

Even from a cheap site my lenses would be well into 3 figures I'm afraid so I don't think having a second pair would really be worth it for something I only do occasionally. I need new glasses soon so I may ask about it then but if it is a choice between having the correct focus for reading or knitting then reading wins every time.

It is good news as Janet has been waiting quite a while for a kidney that was a good match but it seems to have been worth it. I don't think anyone expected her to be home so quickly, though obviously she will have to keep going back for tests.
