I am doing very well with artistic outings at the moment as on Wednesday kazzy_cee invited me to go with her to the Rembrandt’s Light exhibition at the Dulwich Picture Gallery. She was originally supposed to be going with lilachigh but as lilachigh couldn’t make it I got to go instead and was very grateful as it was a very interesting exhibition.

Oh I'm terrible at walking past people I just don't see! I blame it on my shortsightedness! LOL!

I love the Oriental exhibition - Orientalist fantasy paintings are really interesting as they weren't of course allowed into the harems, so most of what they painted was wishful thinking. I did a presentation about at a belly dance demonstration as the paintings are so interesting.

Yes, it was very interesting. I really wish that we had gone sooner and it hadn't been so crowded. My Art Fund app has the facility to make a note in my calendar a month before an exhibition I am interested in is finishing and I have just gone through and done that with several so I don't keep dashing to exhibitions just before they close.

I think shortsightedness is the reason I walk past people too. At some point I just got so used to not being able to see that I forgot to look.

I tend to not remember faces so I could see someone I did a weekend of touring around with and not remember their face at all. (I was so embarrassed when I saw them again.)

Looks like more excellent exhibits.

I've been really lucky with exhibitions recently.

I'm very bad at remembering faces too. I have to meet someone several times to really fix their faces in my brain. That's another reason I walk past people as I simply don't recognise them.
