We had planned to go to the Over-55s film at Wimbledon Odeon yesterday. They were showing Downton Abbey which we didn't bother to go and see when it was first on but as we hadn't been to an over-55 showing before we thought it would be wacky. The eye thing doesn’t sound good! I hope the flashy thing has stopped now. Are you eligible for laser eye surgery? A couple of extremely short sighted friends have had it done and swear by it.

I think I'm too squeamish to consider laser surgery. I don't wear contact lenses because I can't stand the thought of putting anything in my eyes so the idea of laser surgery makes me shudder.

I'm stuck with the flashy thing for a while. It's this and it will eventually calm down once my brain learns to process it. Hey ho!

It was really lovely. All the gardens at Hever are beautiful but the rose garden was particularly gorgeous.

Oh, take care of the eye thing. :(

I do love roses and I am always happy to see English roses in so many gardens. :D The rose garden at Regents Park is beautiful.

As for the deep sea or space thing, neither. The very idea gives me chills.

Me too. I can’t think of anything worse.

I used to know the Regents Park rose garden well as my university hall of residence was close by. I must go and visit it again,

I will take care of the eye thing. My optician checked everything three times and couldn’t see anything wrong but she’s going to look again when I go back next week.
