The complicated relationships between the familiar characters continue and some new ones are added into the mix. Can't wait for the next book in this series. The Arthurian part is a neat twist on the legends, which is entirely possible

I liked the different setting a lot. I feel we may be seeing some of those new characters again. The Arthurian part was the icing on the cake :)

Thanks. We're only heading for Lincolnshire and dealing with Ma-in-Law's house but it will be nice to have a break. Even the No Internet is good sometimes.

The Griffiths books are very readable.

Many hugs back :)

I've found that I can only read one book at a time now if I want to finish something. I started off back in the spring with my usual three, had to give two up to concentrate on Our Mutual Friend, finished that, went back to the other two, read nothing but the non-fiction book until I'd finished it. Went back to the remaining one and am now two thirds through that.

And it still feels all wrong to be only reading one book at a time (possibly because this last book is boring me slightly).

I'm finding that too. It's quite disconcerting not to be able to read three at once any more. I can still do it if I set aside a specific time for each book, but if one book is more involving than the other then that tends to win out despite my best intentions.
