Glad you've had a good freshers week, how strange that you have a separate one to everyone else! Do you live with other medics or is it mixed accommodation?

which uni are you at?

aaahaha enjoy lectures (and three hour lunch breaks) while you got em... just wait until the days of the 8am ward round. in a hospital 40 minutes away. and it's raining.

(i swear i'm not grumpy in the slightest.)

fresher's week itself is ok but i wouldn't worry about missing out too much in the daytimes - it's mostly soc advertising and frankly rubbish freebies. i've a free wooden spoon for every year i've been at uni! the real fun is at night time and i promise you CAN go out and then go to lectures in the morning :)

I'm at Leicester! How about you? What year are you in?

Haha, that sounds fun- I think I have 5 semesters before we properly start ward rounds!

That's good- I was just thinking, we will be going out later too! All this week our Medic socials have started at like 7pm- so I should have plenty of time during the day if we havework to do in the first week :)

Just started final year at Leeds.

I really should not be complaining at the moment, haha, I started this year on GP, replete with cushy timetable and coffee breaks! It's ace! Back to the wards in a couple of weeks ;)

That sounds so cool! Do you have any idea what specialty you want to go into?
