Books and music and other things.

Like, um, a lot of other people, I'm looking forward to the release of Deathly Hallows on Saturday (and since I'm working the midnight party thing, I get to get it before we close that night. Woohoo.) Granted, I'm a major spoiler whore, and, if any of these spoilers are real, I know how most of the book turns out. But that's not important. I was ( Read more... )

work, harry potter, music

Apparently the book can be found on some torrent thinger... I have no idea, but yeah, there was some ass who mentioned major points on one or more of the communities... So, wow, 4th time?? Damn! Can't wait, heh.

Sorry about your finger, all sorts of ouch! You get all sorts of injured there, don't ya? Hope it heals quickly!

Yeah, the book's all over the place. I haven't actually read it (it's actually just pictures of each page, and the camera flash makes everything kind of hard to read), but I've gotten summaries of some things. *shrug* It does kind of amuse me that, after all the money these publishing companies spent on security for this one book, it gets leaked on the internet a week before the official release. Oh well. LOL, yeah, fourth time. I think this one ranks as my second favorite of the Harry Potter movies, behind the third one.

My finger's not too bad. It's hard to explain how it feels, but it's not really painful. You can just kind of see an indentation, and there's no bruising or anything (yet). Thank you, though! :)

It seems like the harder they try, the less they succeed... Oh well indeed. Well that's something, then. I really liked the 3rd one as well. I haven't read the books, so I can't say too much in that department.

Well, at least that, then. Anytime:-)

Yo!

I liked the movie too, saw it two days after it came out. The pacing was done reaaallly well in this one; it was bam bam bam, no time to get bored. My friend who saw it with me was pissed, though, since it cut out all of the subtext/plot from the book (apparently). Haven't read them myself, so I wouldn't know =D With the amount of action it looks like these later books are going to have, I'm looking forward to the last 2.

On another note, if you're a Die Hard fan, 4 is definitely worth going to ~ it preserves the atmosphere incredibly well. And Transformers was frikkin hilarious ~ haven't laughed that hard in a long time ^^
