A Spike wallpaper (in two variations)

So, I've joined this lovely graphics comm called whedon_art ... and the second challenge was titled "fire".  And I'm a dork.   So I have here for you a wall in two variations.  It actually comes from a picture of a fire dancer (you  know, those magnificent souls who play with burning flame on a rope?  and then stand so someone can take etherial and beautiful ( Read more... )

Ooh! These are so pretty! Love the swirly technique and how you incorporated spike into it. Also really like the effect of the first.

Oooh! Hot (in more ways than one) and so very pretty. I think I like the second one best, but they're both lovely.

Thanks! And the swirling actually isn't a technique - it's from a photo of fire dancers (for example this picture">)
