So I've had a crappy couple of days. First, my mail went freaking nuts and I lost pretty much every mail that was sent to me in the past week. Then, my daughter caught the flu. Sorry your days have sucked. I've been thinking about you this week, trying to find the time to sit down and write a real email, but I've had little to say, so I kept silent and worked on H/C writing.
That said, I miss our exchanges and will make an effort to write to you.
Your poor little girl. Throwing up is miserable at any age, but she's so little.
My company just had a meeting about installing a attendance policy. We've never really had one. Missing work is now going to be a much bigger deal than ever before. After five "occurrences" a verbal warning is issued, and on and on. My co-worker's two year old has chronic ear infections, even with tubes, and I don't see that changing. I don't think it's fair to her to punish her for staying home with her sick son. That happens more than five times in a year.
I hope you and the rest of your family manage to avoid your daughter's flu. Poor kid!
I will make my next stop the breast cancer site and will pass it on.
I hope your weekend doesn't bite the big one ....

thanks for checking out the site. women everywhere thank you!
the only great thing about being home today was that i got to sit and just watch a movie. i haven't done that in a while, so it was nice. i watched this great documentary called, Zeitgeist. soooooo good. it's kind of like Fahrenheit 9/11 except on a much broader scale, including religion and banks. i don't agree with everything in the documentary, as some parts were questionable, but it was compelling and scary as hell nonetheless ( ... )

And I think it's great to make people aware of breast cancer...still there are not enough women who think about and get themselves checked on a regular basis. Anyway I'll go and click on the link right away now!
Hope you're having a lovely easter! *hugs*
