Between a rock and a hard place doesn't even cover it! And yes, he will, although to him she will really be a daughter not a niece.
I see Don as a lover not a fighter, he figures it's easier not to argue and just do what he's told (it seems when he doesn't, like when he left Cassandra at the altar, he seems to do more harm than good anyway). I feel sorry for Nina too, she really does love him even if he is a tool!
I'm shaking my head at Don right now. The way you write him is more or less how I always pictured him though! I always imagined Cass as being susceptible to depression and suicide as well.
Dina is really intense; I keep on thinking that's she's reached her limits in the cunning department and then she just turns it up another notch. I hope Nina stands up to her sister at some point, she doesn't seem to want to be involved either.
Poor Alex! And poor Cass! I wonder if Don and Nina know if it was really a suicide or just made to look that way.
The pre-mades can be interpreted in many ways, but it's always nice to know you're not the only one who sees them in a certain way.
Dina certainly takes cunning, and manipulative to a new level. Nina's in a hard position, she believes in absolute loyalty to her sister, but not in what her sister actually does.
Dina may appear to have her hands clean but Don and Nina will have their doubts. Whether it's enough to make them stand up to Dina is yet to be seen, after all, why change a habit of a lifetime :S
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback, it makes my day :D
I agree! I love seeing different interpretations than what I had (that's the main fun of the Sims fandom), but when I find someone that has the same the interpretation as me I get a little giddy.
That's true, it'd be really hard to break out of cycle that'd be going on for so long.
You're very welcome; it's a pleasure, I love leaving feedback. :)
Love this! Dina is much more maniacal than usual; certainly puts her in a new, darker, light for me. I tend to think of her as just a typical gold digger.
It's one of the things I enjoy so much about the premades is how differently they can be interpreted. I've previously written Dina as quite a sympathetic character, but she definitely pulls off dark and manipulative very well ;)
I just read all of your chapters in one go and I love it. I love your interpretation of Don, it's kind of how I picture him. And I can totally picture Cassie being depressed and insecure. I like your take on Dina, to me she's usually a bit of a playful gold digger with a nice side, but your interpretation works really well. And I feel so sorry for Alexander! Anyway, awesome chapter, can't wait for more!
Thank you so much! I don't think Don is particularly a bad person, just very weak, and I've always imagined Cassie as growing up in her parents, especially her mother's, shadow.
I can completely see Dina having a nice side, but not this interpretation...and it's a whole lot more fun to write ;)
Thank you so much for taking the time to catch up and your lovely comment!

Oh, Alexander!!!!! What a position to be in!
Is he even going to tell Tosha where the baby really came from?
And *sigh* I am sooo disappointed in Don. And poor Nina! She actually loves Don, but he keeps letting Dina jerk his chain. What a tool!

Also agree chillyz's comment, Don is such a TOOL!

And yes, Don is a tool, but a lot of it comes from a reluctance to fight. That's why it's so easy for Dina to manipulate him!
