As of 5PM tomorrow (when I'm done for Fall Break, the !@$$^ paper I'm writing is turned in, my Latin midterm is finished, my obligations are over for the moment, and I can go back to working constantly-but-on-my-own-schedule), I will be done with one quarter of my senior year

Unhappiness followed by interesting stuff intermingled with missing followed by grad school which will also entail missing, if you are anything like me, which you are.

I like your desk. :) Senior year is good. I still miss it.

I found myself here this morning looking for something encouraging for a friend-of-a-friend-who-I-now-know-over-the-internets panicking about their thesis at Harvard, and just wanted to say:

Oh god, this is so true. Summer was miserable in lots of ways, and although I love it here and am crazy-happy, I miss research terribly. Grad school after next year, I think, for sure. And.. I think I will always miss senior year.

I haven't heard much from you in any forum lately. Sending my love.
