generally i think as an addictive behavior, it's stable. and comforting.
i do however think, as part of the "taking responsibility for your life" thing, if you smoke, and you know you're addicted, and its hurting you, and you want to live, and all that, you should know you CAN quit +i think the best thing is to try.
