The ongoing drama of my life
For those who read previous posts (specifically the one which has now been locked to private: my eyes only) there is more news:
That which was happening is no longer happening. It ended last night.

So some of you may have noticed a posting on here recently which has now (I fervently hope) disappeared... this is becasue it was meant to be a private post, (thanks, LJ - no really!).

Milestones and other significant events
On Sunday, December 3, 2007 (at approximately 12:30 AM) I got engaged!!
This is definitely a significant event. Also a milestone. And rather darn exciting, too.
Not that the actual story of the event itself was exciting - my fella knows me too well to do something really dramatic (I'd no doubt fall to pieces on him, or something equally ( Read more... ) -
Bah.
I'm sooooooo ready to be done with being a student.
Now if I can just keep it together for a few more weeks, I may actually BE done with being a student...
And speaking of, there's another history paper to be written, and this isn't getting it done -

Okay, so I'm wasting time blogging when I should be writing my paper - after all, it's due on Wednesday, and I haven't even finished all my reading for it: it's definitely going to be a couple of late nights for me.

Flying trip to Fernie
So, got back last night from a 4-day trip to Fernie, BC, to go to a friend's wedding reception / baby shower. The friend in question got married in December, but held the reception in August because more people could come then (and you just really don't want to camp in Fernie in December) I don't think I've ever been to a party with more children ( Read more... )
