My long overdue "What happened over my Christmas break" update! Let's divide it into two sections, with pictures to come later...

Yay Disney World by the way! I went there a bunch of times when I was a little kid cuz my great aunt used to test the rides and she knew people. But that was all before MGM was built and now it's gone! I had no idea. Is it still the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror?

Well technically MGM is still there - at least that's what I called it the entire time we were there :) It's hard to remember a name change for something you've known your whole life! And yes, it's still called that, to my knowledge. Apparently the license for the park name ran out and they didn't want to pay the $$ to renew it, but to my knowledge the only ride to change is the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playarea", which is now called something generic and boring.

And yes, I love Disney World too! Disney Land is ok, but it pales in comparison. Matt had a great time too, which is just what I was hoping for!

YAY I'm so glad you had such an eventful trip home :) Sounds like you overfilled Matt's brain with authentic and fake and authentically fake Floridian things, which is very very good. Mmmm any mention of the Columbia makes me uber happy. LOVE the Ybor. LOVE IT.

Speaking of your bro, did you give him my email? You got them one I sent you with all the books he needs, right?

Yes! I sent it to him, and I need to remind him to reply to it, even just to say thanks. He went back to UCF with that thesis paper looming, so my bet is he's given up checking email til it's done. It's a very TJ thing to do :)
