After almost 24 hours of refreshing the page, I was finally able to watch act one of Dr. Horrible's Sing-along-Blog, and it is FREAKING AWESOME. I love the plot, love the music, love the actors, and love Joss Whedon. So so brilliant

i have a few names for you: Blue Dahlia in Downtown and there's one in Los Feliz on Hillhurst, i think it's called Winoteca.

Oh neat! We went to Left Coast in Glendale (right across the street from the Americana, and live jazz and couches!) and then to Palate, which just opened in Glendale. Palate is technically a restaurant, but their big thing is wine.

There's a great (relatively)new cafe/wine-is-their-big-thing place at the International Plaza. It's called The Grape and they make the BEST lunch meals(hummus with roasted red peppers and flatbread with spinach, goat cheese, eggplant and balsamic syrup) and they have WAY too much wine :)
