Whee! Before I launch into my detailed review of last night's Josh Ritter concert, I have to mention one Josh-related item that I'd somehow forgotten to mention for the last week
( Read more... )
I'm so glad you had such a good time and that it put you in a better mood!
I have to listen to more Josh Ritter. I have one album, which I truly enjoy. But the song I can't stop listening to is "Good Man." It happens to be both on the one album of his I have and the House M.D. Soundtrack (still one of my all-time favorite music cues in the whole show).
Actually, I think I'm gonna go listen to it again. :)
Sounds like you had a blast! I'd love to hear him outside of opening for Jamie Cullum(though that was incredible anyways... I will never forget hearing "Girl In The War" for the first time).
RUMORS kicks so much ass! I bet it sounded BOOYAH in person ;) I love his explanation for the fall of Rome. That is so classic, as is the potato thing. Too funny!
I'm glad you enjoyed reading about it - as I was there I was literally taking mental notes for you and Connie. So it's almostkindasorta like you were there :)
YAY! with the pictures and all the lovely notes my mind can pretend i was there :D. and it makes me happy. sounds like a very happy concert, in fact i'm beinging to think josh is made of happy. as well as awesome. thank you for the concert in my mind. hehe.
Holy shnikes, for a second I thought the header read "John Ritter" concert. I was like... Jack Tripper's back from the dead? AWESOME!
Sorry if I spooked you with that first vm earlier... but, being the concientious reporter I was, I needed to get an official confirmation, and hence, the second call.
...but it really did seem to have the earmarks of a fire.
so i had this REALLY weird dream last night that invovled canoeing, treadmills, a campsite (like cabins, not tents), a bunch of high school and college people, and jesse keene - who was shyly but finally interested in me and was trying to slowly work his way up to something....except he looked like your guy kevin! and i was married to ryan! what the heck??
