Title: Want may press thee down
I still adore this title with a mad and passionate love.
Summary: It's dangerous to catch the attention of Lady Shiva's protégé.And this *summary* still brings me joy. Because it does several things: one, that summary sets up the AU. Two, it sets up the *point* of Tim Is A Scary Kid. Three, it makes Really Clear

Man, if I had to tell Lady Shiva that I was messing up because I wanted to have sex with a guy I'd seen *once*, I would probably go off and commit hara-kiri.
*snickers* You and me both. And probably everyone in the world who isn't Tim. Also, Shiva being Tim's first wet dream? Is probably more scary to me than it should be.
But I still adore Tim's terrifyingly smitten ways in this. And also, mmmmm to Dick in chains.

Shiva was totally Tim's first wet dream, all blood-spattered and smiling and -- actually, his dream looks rather a lot like what happened in canon with Shiva on Tim's bed. Only with more blood.
Terrifyingly smitten is an excellent way to describe him!
Mmmmmmm. *has Moment*

I'm selfless... I'm selfless... I'm... OMG WANTTAKEHAVE. For, er, The Mission (Tim is more honest; Shiva keeps him so).

I hadn't even gone there in my head! And now it won't LEAVE.

There's a story of Te's this reminds me of, but I'm not sure I should tell you which one. OK, who am I kidding. 'Reflections'. Really rather amazingly disturbing, which I mean as a compliment, so pick the night you read it carefully.
"Tiger cages" is because I am a sad, sad person and have to insert Slade *everywhere*. Ny wrote a trilogy once about conciliating the tiger.
*draws hearts on Ny*
If I'd known then what I know now, I'd have had Tim use a nervestrike to the cluster of nerves at the juncture of neck and shoulder. But I didn't know that existed, so instead Tim is using the strike Cass has been known to use on Steph.
*laugh at myself* Would you believe I didn't realize the tiger cage was a reference to my Slade/Dick trilogy? Whereas I knew that was Cass' nerve strike on Steph, and saw the 'collar and cuffs' as a nod to Petra.
This series continues to be gloriously wrong, and one day, when i dare, I'll try to write a few words about Dick's perspective.

I have had a story of mine compared favorably to a story of Te's. I can die happy, I have achieved the pinnacle of ficcish achievements.
(Also, yes, that is indeed a creepybadwrong story.)
I am completely unsurprised that you didn't catch the tiger reference, since I was being relatively subtle.
*grins*
Oh. I. Yipes. And also yay.

I'm now thinking Thoughts about Tim thinking Thoughts. Mmm... Thoughts.

*snickers* Yeah, that'd be up there on the list of Things I Wouldn't Want To Have To Explain To Lady Shiva.
I have yet to decide if Shiva and Kali have ever had sex.
!!! *hides* (This is me carefully not thinking about that happening. Especially not how old Tim might have been at the time. (I am blaming the fact I have to try not to think about his age on that scene in Tim's bedroom in A Hero Reborn. Canon, you scare me sometimes.) *hides some more*)
And also because Shiva would kill him. Which she didn't need to say. With Shiva there are certain death threats you have to ( ... )

There are lots of things I wouldn't want to explain to Lady Shiva, but that is indeed *right* up there.
(She is *always* Shiva to him. Never Sandra, never Ms. Wusan, rarely Lady Shiva. Only Shiva.)
*mee hee hee*

Sex might, too, actually.
(I'm assuming she isn't bothered quite as much when he does things she has to break his bones for, because, as tedious as that my be, he never does the same thing again after he's healed, so at least it's progress and not more of her work being put to waste). She's very fond of her apprentice, yes. He wastes neither her time nor her energy. Very soon he will be skilled enough to kill her ( ... )
