I'd be happy if she just finished the sequel to "To Conciliate A Tiger" that she's writing. But if she did a sequel to the thing I did--wow. I'd feel so amazingly honored.
He's been like that since last night, hon... you must be doing something right. ^__^
As for how I know if a fic is 'flowing' or not... pretty much what you said. If it feels forced, I usually back off for a while until it feels natural again.
The only thing that'll make me scrap a fic is if I read it and it doesn't sound like the characters to me. Voice is everything.
hey... uhmm i´m a lurker.. so yeah hee.. uhm i´m writing this because i know that you would never post the story (The "To Conciliate A Tiger" quasi-sequel) without rubynye's permission, but could you please ask her ´cause i would love to see it....
hmm, I just write. I let the story write itsself. And thus there comes one plottwist, then another and I'm just looking at them wondering where the story will end up going. Sometimes I know where it's going but don't know how to get there. So I'll often start a story several different times or start a chapter more than once. ^^' I can show you several different drafts of the beginning of a story that I wrote until it flowed properly. ^^ I'm going to rewrite the second chapter of that story I'm stuck on as soon as I've finished the Roy/Dick one based on Nightwing 111. ^^' You know the one I'm talking about. Damn I wish I had the plot I wrote up for you here...

That's why I hadn't worked on those fics for a while; nothing was coming easily.
Yes, it is. Speaking of which, did you read that link I sent you the other day?

Certainly I shall ask her. If she says yes, I'd be happy to post it.
From sheer curiousity, why do you not get an l-j? They're free now, after all... *dangles l-j temptingly* And they're so much fun...

Besides, maybe you do. Try one and see.
I did indeed ask rubynye, and the fic is posted.
