The impression here of the length of time before is what disturbs me the most here. In a good way.

This one. *runs around flailing* And somehow it seems significant that Dick never did call him Tim. Like, he won't even be Tim when he remembers the time when Dick was alive. Or something. *hands* I don't know. YOU SCARE ME. IN A REALLY GOOD WAY. OKAY, I THINK MY COHERENCE IS MAYBE STILL SHOT. *flails some more*)

You are *totally right*, and Kali will wake from dreams of him and wish more fervently than he was aware he *could* to know what his name would have sounded like in Dick's mouth. Preferably after Tim had gotten done kissing it.

He was *absolutely* in love, and if you hugged him he would rip your arms off and beat you to death with them.
