Ice Age 3 in 3D is freaking awesome. Best $18 I ever spent on a movie. (Fine, let's not quibble over the five times I watched Fast & Furious and Star Trek. Each. XPP)

Plot-wise, it was the average cartoon fare (note I said cartoon), just like other cartoon/western animated movies shown in cinemas before this. But in 3D, it's spectacular. My ( Read more... )

So far so good with IRB. The joke around the office was that you're paying your tax to get the Fat Lady to slim down. Of course, fat chance it will happen.

Not even the Law of Attraction would work on the IRB.

Cos it's 3D. On the bright side, I was expecting it to be about $40 (which was what they charged for the 3D of Journey to the Center of the Earth!!), so $18 wasn't too bad. (And it was sorta an emergency type of movie-watching.)

I try to go on Wednesdays when it's $7 or $8, but that's not counting popcorn+soda yet. ;)

We spend like 7/8 € for a 3D movie (I don't know exactly the currency exchange, but it should be like $9). Aherm. And we complain about our prices XD

Actually, our currency is RM (or MYR in online converters), but I'm too lazy to type out RM18. orz

And 1€ is about RM5, so yeah, at least twice your ticket prices. But still, it's better than against the British pound. :(
