Ice Age 3 in 3D is freaking awesome. Best $18 I ever spent on a movie. (Fine, let's not quibble over the five times I watched Fast & Furious and Star Trek. Each. XPP)
Plot-wise, it was the average cartoon fare (note I said cartoon), just like other cartoon/western animated movies shown in cinemas before this. But in 3D, it's spectacular. My favorite part? The aerial battle. I've always loved dogfights, especially circa WWI & WWII, & seeing those pterodactyls chasing Buck & the possums (aboard their less-violent flying creature) & sometimes coming reallyclosetotheaudience, helped by the Dolby...fuiyo!!
Sits & I are gonna catch the 3D "Up". Any takers? XDD

On a less pleasing note, got a letter from the Inland Revenue Board (IRB). Seems like I underpaid my taxes, again, & they want me to pay the balance. *sighs* I wouldn't feel so bitter about it if there's a yearly government statement detailing the country's expenses, to show how my tax money is being spent. Cos I sure as hell don't wanna be paying for the salaries of dead weight politicians who bicker publicly (or cut red ribbons) more than they work, or for those police escorts given to "dignitaries" who roar through the city & cause traffic jams for hard-working citizens like myself. A thousand odd bucks may be chump change to most of those people mentioned, but to the Ordinary Joe/Jane like me, it's a lot. >_< BAH.
