I have to comment on how much I'm enjoying these paragraph-by-paragraph rants. They make me laugh! :D I also get what you mean about poor Charlie. I've always felt sorry for him, especially in later books. Yes, sadly, it's true -- Bella gets worse in New Moon, and pretty much intolerable in Eclipse. It will make you SCREAM.

Can't wait for Chapter Four!

Aww, I'm really glad that people are enjoying them!

UGH, and just when I thought I couldn't hate this character even more. XD

*salutes!* I'll get right on it when I get back from vacation!

LOL. I said you'd have more material in this chapter.

I don't know about her getting "worse". I don't think she gets more bitchy. I do think she loses most of her personality. The closer she gets to Edward, the more of an empty shell she becomes. She still treats everyone besides the Cullens with outright contempt.

Ahh...Just wait until you meet Jacob. Poor, poor kid. (SPOILER: He's the best friend she could possibly ask for, but she treats him like utter shit. Meyers turns him into a jerk in Eclipse apparently to make Bella less reprehensible.)

You were right. You were unbelievably right. 8(

And... ugh. That's too bad. Oh well. <8/ What can you expect with such bad writing?

Aw man, for real? I hate it when authors do that. Usually you only see it in fanfiction, where the the fanficcer will take a canonically-nice character and turn them into a jerk just because they don't like them. XD

It was Edward, and he was NAKED (That would have been an improvment ( ... )

It DOES get worse. Trust me. ><
And, right now I understand why you feel sorry for Edward, but in awhile, you'll probably start hating him too. >< They're all very full of themselves, except for, of course, Mike and them, who've been nothing but nice to the new girl.

My God, it's the stupidest thing ever. ><

Oh yeah, don't worry, I'm sure I'll start hating him. XD

For the MOMENT, though, Bella's just being inordinately bitchy towards him for no reason at all and it's just ridiculous. XD I'm a pretty fairminded reader-- I don't hate on the characters unless I see reason to, and Edward is innocent... so far.

I'm sure I'll get PLENTY of dirt on them ALL later on. XD

Well, Bella's a bitch right now, but in awhile, they WILL seem right for each other. xD

I don't think that Edward is all that innocent right now, only because Meyer is describing him to death with pretty adjectives. And I don't think Bella was a bitch to him till this chapter, though she did stare at him a lot. I don't think that she really touched his arm, even though Meyer said it was "hard." That was Meyer's falt, not Bella's.
Great chapter as usual. Poor Charile, and Tyler, seriously. I have decided to comment/read the book like you have, because I'll never read the whole thing other wise.

For the moment, I don't think he's done anything particularly hateworthy besides being OMG HAWT. But don't worry, I've heard enough to know that I'll hate him in the later chapters. ;)

And yeah, I know she didn't touch him. XD That's just me poking at Meyer for describing how his arm felt randomly like that. That, and I like the idea of Bella feeling him up without noticing while he's all "....

No doubt! (Lord, I'm so white)
But I got that, about her describing his arm as hard. How did she know unless she touched him? It's just how these books have gotten so popular, I'll never know.
