Hey, all. Crazy job is crazy, thus the radio silence broken only by the sound of wild flailing last Friday. This is a long post. I tried to do it in sections so people could only click on the lj cuts for topics they care about (work, pets, fanfic, & television in that order)

I'm glad you're doing well, although that work schedule sounds a bit crazy! Same with all the lifting. I think the disorganization with the new merch would bother me the most! Ugh! Hang in there! And I bet you have more time to think doing stocking! Hence the chattery muses :D YAY! fic please? *puppy eyes*

Awww, Henry! Well, I'm glad he has a new home then! Sounds like he'll have a great life :P

I'm actually liking The Event quite a lot. Granted, nothing this season has made me obsessed like I am about The Mentalist and Sanctuary, but it's one of my favorites of the new lineup. And UUUUUGHGHGHGHG. I agree with you on Fringe. We call her Faux-livia. Goes nicely with Walternate.... hehehehehehehe

I had never even thought about it in those terms! Most of the time, I've been flailing over his ridiculous inability to distinguish a stranger from the woman he loves, and now...you've just totally tipped my perspective on this...

And, may I just add to this that the most difficult thing about writing slash or femslash is the pronouns?

reader: "Oh, that's hot. This is really... wait, who just grabbed whose breast?" *confuzzled*

Haha, I'd never thought about that either! It can get annoying repeating names over and over, but to eliminate confusion, it's probably necessary. I find it annoying when people keep using titles, like 'the Mother Confessor this', 'the Mord'sith that', I mean, you may as well just use their names ad nauseam instead.
